Borderlands

Action role-playing looter-shooter series created by Gearbox Software and published by 2K. The first game released on 20 October 2009. Players are Vault Hunters on the planet Pandora, and guns and gear are procedurally generated. The main line continues with Borderlands 2 in 2012, The Pre-Sequel in 2014 (developed by 2K Australia and set on Pandora's moon Elpis), Borderlands 3 on 13 September 2019, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands on 25 March 2022, and Borderlands 4 on 12 September 2025, set on the planet Kairos. Telltale Games released the episodic adventure Tales from the Borderlands across 2014 and 2015.
